About Me

My name is Juan Munoz, and I am a second-year business student with a major in Operations Management and a minor Economics.

From the moment I stepped on campus, I have been involved in student life, taking on leadership roles in multiple clubs. I currently serve as VP Logistics for the Operations Management Club, VP Communications for eClub, and Cohort Representative in the Business Student Association. These experiences have strengthened my ability to advocate, organize, and lead—skills I want to bring to the role of VP External.

Over the past years, students have faced rising tuition and fees while government funding for post-secondary education continues to decline. I have seen how these financial challenges impact students, making it harder to focus on their studies and future careers.

I am running for VP External—to fight for greater government support for students and reduce financial burdens. As your VP External, I will advocate for policies that deliver real, measurable benefits, ensuring students have a stronger voice at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels.

It’s time for student concerns to be heard loud and clear. Together, we can push for a more affordable and accessible education at the University of Alberta.
